CAD: the why and how

CAD ( Computer-aided design) is used throughout the architectural and industrial design business. Providing drawings in a CAD format allows architects, consultants, engineers and clients to exchange records of how every service is to be installed in the project. The project manager works from this plan to ensure that the project comes together successfully. Providing CAD drawings for your services is now the most acceptable form of drawing and is a requirement for most projects.

At AsBuilt we provide the following services

• We will meet with you to discuss your drawing requirements
• We will demonstrate how your sales team can mark up drawings quickly by hand for a professional CAD finish
• We will request from the architects the correct CAD drawings if necessary
• Upon collection of your drawings, a quotation will be provided depending upon amount of items, cables, labels, numbering etc.
• Completed drawings will be converted to .pdf and emailed back and original drawings returned by post.
• We will design the drawing title with your logo and contact details.
